Deleted: Bothan Darach cottage is situated, on the shores of Loch Linnhe, amidst some of the finest scenery in Europe. It is popular amongst our guests for walking, cycling, bird watching etc. Many of Scotland’s best known sites are only a short drive from Port Appin.  Oban is around 30 minutes drive, which is also the main ferry port for The Hebridean Islands such as Mull, Colonsay, Tiree & Coll.  Day trips to Mull can be planned to visit Tobermory (the real Balamory) or the famous islands of Iona or Staffa. Fort William is about 40 minutes drive from the cottage and Glencoe Village can be reached in half an hour.
